About Me
Christian Druitt decided he wanted to be a filmmaker when he was 10 years old. He took film and TV production classes in high school and continued his film education at George Mason University, where he was a part of over 25 student productions and graduated with a concentration in cinematography.
He began working as a grip in 2018, and further developed the passion for lighting that he first discovered in film school. As a grip, he has worked on productions for Hilton Hotels, The History Channel, and more.
He now works as a freelance director of photography and gaffer in the DC area for projects spanning commercial, corporate, documentary, and narrative productions.
Christian places a high value on professionalism, mutual respect, and being laid back and easy to work with, while also keeping pace and getting work done when on set. Both personally and professionally, he also values fostering an understanding of others and where they might be coming from, while internally confronting any judgments or preconceptions.
